The Legend of the Freaky Tiki & the Amazing Story of Tiki Taco ....
Many years ago (1974 I think it was), in the Mayan territory of Tikal, a young child was
born. His given name was Elianas Humberto Perez. From a very early age, young Elianas
loved to eat. He began eating mangos and other tropical fruits, but one day fruit no longer
satisfied him. He wanted something with more flavor and something with the many flavors
and zeal that would reflect his life.
He became obsessed with creating his own recipes, so Elianas created tacos, burritos, many
fine salsas and a delicious guacamole. As was custom in his tribe, he wore his tribal mask and
tribal garb while presenting his amazing new creations to his people, who were overwhelmed
with joy as they tasted these creations.
His food was so amazing, rumors began to spread that it was magical; some kind of tribal
witchcraft. His tribe viewed his obsession with cooking things to perfection as freakish.
The locals began calling him the Freaky Tiki.
Word of the Freaky Tiki's culinary delights spread world-wide and the legend of the
Freaky Tiki was born. The rest is history.
